I like the look of the carafe, it has an elegant quality. The filter and glass carafe are easy to clean. It is light and delicate so care is necessary to prevent chipping. Two spout stoppers were included. The glass and rubber top fit fine with and without the filter.
This is my first cold brew experience and I used a medium ground dark coffee. Some grounds eventually float outside of the filter and settle on the bottom but I don’t mind and do not pour them into my cup.
I bought this on sale and am pleased to have an option aside from using my French press. The coffee does seem more concentrated and I’m enjoying flavorful iced coffee. I’m experimenting with sweeteners, creamers, added flavors and getting a nice jolt that is pleasing throughout the day.
